Common Questions around Eye Lash Extensions!

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF GETTING AND MAINTAINING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

The application process is very relaxing – you are in a spa setting. You lie down on a plush table, listen to relaxing music and have your eyes closed the entire time. Your technician will glue one synthetic lash extension to one of your natural lashes with medical grade glue. It is imperative that your lash technician is educated and certified. When it is time for your natural lash to shed, the extension will fall out with that lash. To maintain a full appearance, it is recommended to get a refill every 2-3 weeks. Your initial full set takes around 90-180 minutes, and refills can be done in as little as 30-60 minutes.

WHAT TYPE OF ADHESIVE IS USED?

I only use medical-grade adhesive to apply semi-permanent eyelash extensions. Lash extension glues have been specially formulated to work on sensitive areas of the body, such as the eye, to reduce skin irritation. I also offer a sensitive adhesive for our clients with delicate eye areas. Allergic reaction are rare occurrences and are usually the result of incorrect eyelash extension application, seasonal allergen or improper at-home care. Clients are advised to remove contact lenses prior to an eyelash extension application.

WHY SHOULD I GET MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS DONE BY MARY?

Applying extensions is a highly technical and skilled procedure. A bad extension job can be painful and damage your lashes. As with all my procedures I practice with strict quality-control standards, and use the safest products. My combination of great skill and excellent products will show in the longevity and the beautiful, natural appearance and feel of your lashes.
