SKIN NEEDLING & DERMA ROLLING

Skin needling is also called micro-needling therapy or collagen induction therapy. It is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and nonablative procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controlled skin injury.

As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. The controlled injury triggers the body to fill these micro-wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. In addition, new-capillaries are formed. This neovascularisation and neocollagenesis following treatment leads to reduction of scars and skin rejuvenation, i.e., improved skin texture, firmness and hydration. Skin needling targets specific areas such as small acne scars or fine lines and wrinkles. It is also effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks and old surgical scars. Skin needling can remove sun/age spots, improve skin texture from scarring and even relax some scars. All areas of the face, neck and body can be treated.

Derma Rolling is simply targeting a larger area and using a roller brush. The micro-channels created by the brush allow your to return to normal schedules quickly. The process of producing collagen and elastin can go on for up to 9 months after the treatment. However, continual improvement can be seen in as little as a few weeks after the procedure.

This damage encourages the body to produce new collagen and elastin which generate new skin cells to repair itself; the skin becomes thicker, plumper and more youthful.

When it comes to your face...there is no compromise
